Sinotech Healthy Co., Ltd. (中科康的)is a hightech enterprise focus on biomatrerials of regenerative medicine, which is based on the close cooperation between industry, University and Research Institute. Its main R&D members leaded by Prof. Peibiao Zhang, are from the research group of regenerative medical materials (再生医学材料课题组), Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC), Chinese Academy of Sciences.
They started the research of regenerative medicine from 2000. It is the first scientific research team in China named after "regenerative medical materials" (in 2014), engaged in the research of biomedical polymer materials, recombinant growth factors, and their medical application in the fields of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine for more than 20 years.
The team has been supported by nearly 40 funds of national, ministerial and local projects, including the National "863 Program" Project, the special project for international cooperation of Ministry of Science and Technology, the CAS-JSPS joint research program, key projects for the opening up of military logistics, the National Natural Science Foundation, the "double ten" major scientific and technological research projects in Jilin Province, and key projects for the transformation of academic and local achievements, with a total of more than 20 million scientific research funds.
The team members have published more than 150 scientific papers in well-known international journals in the biomedical interdisciplinary field, such as Adv Func Mater, Bioact Mater, Biomaterials, Biomacrolecules, et al. Among them, there are 49 papers with if>5, 12 papers with if>10, and the highest SCI impact factor of a single paper is 19. More than 50 Chinese patents were applied and more than 30 were authorized.
