On February 2, 2009, Guo Guangming, a young Gelao ethnic group from Guangxi, was involved in a car accident and his life was in critical condition. In the final moments of life and death, his brother Guo Xiaokui discussed with his family and made the decision to donate all available organs for free on behalf of his comatose brother. Faced with traditional ethical pressures, this ordinary peasant family chose to face and bear the burden. With the help of the Shenzhen Red Cross, Guo Guangming's heart, liver, two kidneys, and two corneas were ultimately transmitted to six strangers in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and other places. One person went, but it brought the rebirth of four critically ill patients, and two people who were blind saw light again. Guo Guangming has also become the 104th person in China to donate organs without compensation, and the first case of multi organ donation from ethnic minorities in China. His life left in the most respected way.

The story of CCTV's 104th donation deeply touched every viewer in front of the television. Doctors call for us to have the technology, equipment, hospitals, and most importantly, a large number of patients who suffer from pain and urgently need organ transplants, but we lack transplant donors. So far, there have only been 106 multi organ donors nationwide, making it difficult for a clever woman to cook without rice!
All these efforts stem from the serious lack of organ transplant donors, and the research and application of artificial tissues/organs will be a new hope for human future medicine!
